During the rest of the month of November leading up to “Giving Tuesday” November 30th, Popkiller will be donating 20% of net sales from that collection to the Little Tokyo Community Council. That roughly breaks down to $4 for every tote bag, $6 for every shirt, and $8 for every sweater purchased that will be donated to LTCC (Popkiller will be rounding up to the closest dollar!)

New Year’s, or Oshogatsu, is one of Japan’s most important holidays. Although Oshogatsu originally referred to the whole month of January, most people associate it with the first three days (sanga nichi) of the month. On these days, people go to shrines or temples, spend time with friends and relatives and eat special New Year’s dishes.
